Slakah The Beatchild, one of Toronto’s more reputable producers, has always been known to deliver quality music. With a smooth and soulful sound that has been inspired by the 70s, Slakah is truly a unique player in the music industry.
He brings a contemporary Neo soul groove to the vintage sound of yesteryear. This has attracted many artists looking for something different enough to help them stand out, but yet still similar to the jazzy and unique sound of Toronto. Toronto superstar Drake even enlisted his help for his early projects (Room For Improvement, Comeback Season) and has since supported Slakah in his endeavors, even helping to promote his latest offering, The Other Side of Tomorrow, which he released with his band “The Slakadeliqs”.
He was kind enough to grace us with his presence and answer a few questions we had for him.
