For all you romantics out there, this Friday at Planet IndigenUS would make a great date night.
Jewellery selected from Barbra Nahwegahbow’s Planet IndigenUS’s booth would make a great gift (booths open at 6 p.m.). The Blue Dawn Jewellery selections are amazing. One of Barbra’s designs made from silver or natural materials is sure to delight your love. Present the Barb Nahwegahbow Blue Dawn necklace to your sweetheart at dinner (6-9:30 p.m.) prepared by Chefs Jamie Kennedy and Ken Steele (Oneida Nation). The menu at the Gardiner Museum will be inspired by many of the First Nations people who work in Jamie Kennedy’s kitchen. Reservations are required so do call 416-586-8080 to make yours now.
After dinner and maybe some snuggling along the way, go see Juno award-winner Derek Miller’s tribute to Robbie Robertson on Harbourfront’s WestJet Stage (9:30-11 p.m.). Visitors to Planet IndigenUS’s website got to vote for their favorite Robbie song. Turns out it’s Somewhere Down the Crazy River. For Friday, let’s all float down that Crazy River called Love. Thank you, Robbie, for the memories.
