I just came off a movie set with Plex aka Doug Bedard. I played a love scene with Doug’s character, Tommy, as voyeur. We were in M’Chigeeng on Manitoulin Island shooting Moose River Crossing, a film written and directed by Dr. Shirley Cheechoo. Tommy is one of six residential school survivors en route to a residential school reunion. This Friday, August 10th, we can see Plex as part of another spectacle – Planet IndigenUS’s Celebrating the Crossroads: Opening Night Spectacle, 9 – 11 p.m. on the WestJet stage.
