Harbourfront Centre is finally a construction-free zone!

After three years of drilling, paving and detours around our site, the brand new Queens Quay West is now open! It’s easier than ever to get to Harbourfront Centre and enjoy a summer of fun, free weekly activities and weekend festivals. And just in time: the new Queens Quay Promenade will make it easier than ever for Torontonians, and visitors, to enjoy our spectacular Canada Eve Fireworks on June 30.

Featuring a brand new bike lane, widened pedestrian avenue, benches, access to streetcar platforms and a two-way road for cars, Queens Quay West has never looked better. For more information on the construction process, visit Waterfront Toronto. And you’re invited: Party on the Promenade as part of the Redpath Waterfront Festival this weekend! Friday, June 19 is the official opening of the Queens Quay Promenade. The ceremony will take place from 6-7pm on the Simcoe Wave Deck, launching a weekend full of events encouraging visitors to explore the street’s transformation.
