Have you ever wanted to visit Mexico?
Well, now you can! Come down to Harbourfront Centre on July 15–17 to experience our Ritmo y Color: The Streets of Mexico festival.
Ritmo y Color is a Latin American Festival now in its 11th edition. This year we’re exploring the streets of Mexico City, bursting with Mexican culture and the smells of delicious street food from every corner.
For some authentic Mexican food, head over to Rebozos and try some of their torta’s, flautas or delicious tacos. To keep you moving all day long, try out Churrico and enjoy a delicious Churro with just the right amount of sugar.
In our Lakeview Market this weekend we welcome Soul Woven. Soul Woven is a fair trade fashion collection company that is connecting Mayan artisans to the world. You can get one of a kind cowboy boots with unique designs, or a lovely one of a kind spring coat, that none of your friends will have, and a hand woven bag to match.
Dainty by Loulou Beads has some of the most intricate jewellery in the Lakeview Market. Their necklace designs are made with beads and rhinestones and look stunning to wear all year round.
For all you curly haired women out there looking for products to tackle that summer humidity, look no further as London Ivy will be making a return to the Lakeview Market. All of London Ivy’s products are organic and vegan based. With London Ivy, you’ll be able to turn the bottle around and read what’s really going into your hair.
Make sure you come on down to Harbourfront Centre as we celebrate the best theatre, music and dance from the land that combines Indigenous, European and African culture on the street of Mexico.
Don’t forget to follow us on all our social media networks, and this blog to keep up on what is happening at the Lakeview Market this summer!
