The Room – 8:30pm

For many, The Room is one of the most terrible films ever made, achieving cult status due to bizarre storytelling, technical and narrative flaws, and writer/ producer/director Tommy Wiseau's off-kilter performance. The film is about Johnny, a successful banker who lives happily in a San Francisco townhouse with his fiancée, Lisa. One day, inexplicably, she gets bored with him and decides to seduce his best friend, Mark. From there, nothing will ever be the same again.

Dir: Tommy Wiseau / 2003 / R / 1h 39min

The Disaster Artist – 10:30pm

This making-of-the-movie movie tells the story of Tommy Wiseau, who wrote, financed, directed and starred in The Room, which opened in two Los Angeles theatres in June 2003, grossing all of $1,200. That normally would have been the end of the story, except for the fact that the $6-million production went on to achieve a cult following, earning dubious praise as “the Citizen Kane of bad movies.” Also starring Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Sharon Stone and Melanie Griffith.

Dir: James Franco / 2017 / 14A / 1h 44min
