My son attended canoe and basketball camp. He had a blast at both and enjoyed the counselors. He has attended other camps and, by far, Harbourfront Centre has the most enthusiastic camp counselors, is the most organized (the parking arrangement is wonderful) with good security. I would recommend it to anyone.
My son attended the circus camp, it was the first time any of my children attended a Harbourfront Centre camp. It was a wonderful experience for him and for me. I have spoken highly of the camp to several of my friends and intend to send my son again next year because it was such a great experience.
Your camp options are varied, your staff is skilled and has credentials in their areas, your communications by e-mail and phone are clear and timely. Whenever I did have a question, a staff member was always available and able to direct me. My son learned new skills, and the report cards from kayaking and canoeing were great feedback for him. Last year, one of the kayaking counselors even took a picture of the group and gave a copy to each camper. He still has it on his bulletin board in his room. Hes happy there, and I feel like Im doing something good for him by sending him to Harbourfront Camps.
My daughter loved fashion camp. Over two weeks, she got to make a complete garment from scratch, as well as a purse. She had such a great time! The counselors were awesome and I know she would love to come back next year. The school bus pick-up and drop-off option is a real bonus.
My seven-year-old son was nervous to take a bus alone for the first time and go to French camp after a summer without any practice. He ended up loving his experience at Les Decouvreurs, especially the bus ride!
My daughter took part in a number of camps this year and last at Harbourfront Centre. She especially loved baking camp (as did I!).
My kids had an awesome time at TheatreKids Camp. I was truly amazed at how wonderful the play was with only one week of practice. The best part was that, right away, my kids said that they really wanted to go back again.
My daughter learned many positive aspects of team building and fun. Keep up the great work.
