July 1st, Canada Day, is the last official sign that you have arrived at SUMMER in this great country. The Centre Shop has been in the business of showcasing Canadian design talent for over 30 years.
Local Toronto company, Marmalade, specializes in handmade jewellery made using sterling silver, textiles, paper and resin. The fabrics and papers come from Japan. Set in sterling silver, or 18k gold vermeil (sterling silver dipped in 18 karat gold) and sealed with a layer of clear resin, providing a protective coating ensuring that your jewellery will last for years to come.
Marmalade has worked tirelessly to improve production processes in order to reduce environmental pollutants and employs a UV cure acrylic resin ensuring that its jewellery is BPA-free, and does not release any VOCs into the environment during the curing process.
