About instructor Brian Francis:

Brian Francis is the author of two critically-acclaimed novels. His most recent, Natural Order, was selected by the Toronto Star, Kobo and Georgia Straight as a Best Book of 2011. The book is also nominated for an Ontario Library Association Evergreen Award and was shortlisted for a CBC Bookie Award. His first novel, Fruit, was a 2009 Canada Reads finalist. He has appeared on, and written for, the National Post, CBC and TVO, among others. This is his third year teaching creative writing at Harbourfront Centre.

About instructor Adria Iwasutiak:

Adria Iwasutiak has been a publicist since 2003, beginning as an intern at McClelland + Stewart. She has been with Random House of Canada since 2007, working with a diverse list of Canadian and international authors that include Diana Gabaldon, Joy Fielding, Annabel Lyon, Natalie MacLean, Erin Morgenstern and Gretchen Rubin.
