In this one-day workshop, participants will learn to use flocking material to add colour, pattern & texture to their own jewellery creations. Participants will learn basic techniques of metal forming such as sawing, filling, annealing, texturing, finishing and assembling. They will use the hydraulic press to shape sheet metal and create intricate hollow forms. DIY flocking technique will be used to add colour, leaving a soft fluffy finish on their own personal creations. Using basic jewellery techniques, participants will then turn the flocked pieces into earrings and/or pendants.
Course open to adults 18+. No experience necessary. Some materials included with registration fee.
