Now in its fourth year, Habari Africa Festival features local and international artists who bring the evolving traditions and vibrant diversity of African culture to Toronto.
The Lakeview Market features fab finds from all corners of the globe including old world crafts and new, unique designs. Choose from traditional artifacts, local, artisanal, eco-friendly, fair trade products and more.
Grab some food and take in the view. Our food vendors are an extension of some of the busiest kitchens in the GTA, and an important complement to the summer festival season at Harbourfront Centre.
7:15pm – 8:00pm
DJ Moussa delivers an intoxicating mix of different musical genres that includes zouglou, coupe decale, makossa, mbalax, ndombolo, hi-life, naija, zouk, kizomba, salsa, hip hop and R&B. One of Toronto's popular dancers and choreographer Fumu Jahmez, will join DJ Moussa to heat up the stage with his dance moves.

Eritrean krar player and vocalist Daniel Nebiat, member of the 2017 JUNO award winning group, Okavango African Orchestra performs on the Concert Stage with vocalist Tiruedel Zenebe, a popular performer of traditional and contemporary Ethiopian music.

Burundian drumming group Rhythm Umurisho captivates with their intoxicating rhythms and intricate stick-handling techniques.
Noumoucounda Cissoko explores the explosive possibilities of the kora, as he cleverly moves between genres, from blues and jazz to hip-hop and rock, fused with his griot traditions, Senegalese pop and mbalax.
