2014 marks the 10-year anniversary of Mean Girls. The first screenplay written by the incomparable Tina Fey, Mean Girls was a hit with audiences and has gone on to achieve cult status. Fey is a contemporary comedy icon. She made her mark at Saturday Night Live as the first female head writer after getting her start in improv. After moving on to popular film acting roles, she developed, produced, and starred in the popular NBC sitcom 30 Rock, and wrote a best-selling novel. Fey is certainly a force to be reckoned with and we are excited to see what her upcoming projects will be. Mean Girls is funny, clever and entertaining. Lindsay Lohan, fellow SNL alums Amy Poehler and Ana Gasteyer, Canada’s darling Rachel McAdams, Lizzy Caplan, Amanda Seyfried and a bevy of funny women, perform Fey’s script with flawless comedic timing.
