Longo's Free Flicks

Curatorial Statement

Using food as a thematic device, Longo's Free Flicks delves into the gastronomical world of food in film. Whether used as a creative arc in the film or as an examination of food practices on the global and the local level – Longo's Free Flicks provides a strong complement to Harbourfront Centre’s Big Idea for the summer – globalocal. The series includes North American films as well as films from Taiwan and Hong Kong.
