Who knows better than a child what a performance for children should be like?

Dancers begin to perform to classical music when children’s voices suddenly ring out: “What are they doing? I don’t understand anything! This is boring!” The children decide that since this is supposed to be a performance for kids, they should be the ones deciding what it’s about. The results are hilarious, beautiful and captivating as the dancers follow the children’s directions to the letter.

  • “…it is the kind of provocation that gets audiences talking. It’s about what we want from art, the roles of spectator and performer and the power of the critical voice. It is also funny, clever and consummately executed.”
