Meredith Thompson is a dance artist, dance maker and arts educator originally from Huntsville, Ontario. She has performed throughout Canada and beyond with numerous choreographers for nearly two decades, and more recently has been making work, both independently and collaboratively, that has been presented at a number of festivals across the country. Meredith also works as a teaching artist in schools and is the Director of the Young Apprentice Program at Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre.
Born and raised on Unama’ki/Cape Breton Island, Molly Johnson is an emerging maker, freelance writer, Dora Award-winning dance artist, and double Gemini whose body of work imagines alternative ways to be inside a capitalist heteropatriarchal society. She has presented projects at dance: made in canada, PS: We Are All Here, SummerWorks, Dancemakers, the Cape Breton Regional Library, and Halifax Fringe Festival, among others. Based in Toronto, Molly is a licensed wedding officiant on the weekends.
Born and raised in St. John’s, Nfld/ancestral homelands of the Mi’kman and Beothuk, Tina Fushell is a Toronto based dancer, curator, producer and performance maker. As a performer, she has interpreted the work of numerous dance artists, has had residencies at Toronto Dance Theatre, Artscape Gibraltar Point and her work has been presented at Dusk Dances, Festival of New Dance, SummerWorks, among others. Most recently Tina co-curated the NL Dance Series as part of this year’s FND.
