From traditional origins to the modern context, learn the technique of still life drawing. Encaustic Painting

Encaustic painting is the application of molten hot wax to surfaces. Learn the basics with a focus on safe studio practice. You'll explore various techniques including: layering, pouring, fusing and intarsia. Leave with your own beautiful, original pieces of art and the skills to continue creating.

Intro to Life Casting
and Mold Making

An introduction to mold making principles and the exciting possibilities that life casting can bring to your art! Begin using your own hand as subject while you experiment and create molds of various hand poses. Leave with the skills to apply this art form to your own practice!
