If you have recently graduated from a recognized craft, design or art college/university and are interested in pursuing a full-time career in craft, you should consider an artists residency in the Craft Studio.
The Craft Studio residency programme acts as a stepping stone between school and a professional career. It is designed to assist and promote emerging, professional craftspeople by providing time, facilities, professional development programmes and resources to create and develop work.
Full-time openings in Hot-glass, Metal/Jewellery, Ceramics and Textiles. Summer openings in Metal, Textiles and Glass when space permits.
Taught by the Craft Studio artists-in-residence, these beginner courses for adults are an excellent creative challenge. Courses include Ceramics, Glass Blowing, Basic Jewellery Creation and Textiles.
Lectures, professional seminars and workshops with prominent Canadian and international artists on a variety of craft-related topics are offered throughout the year. For more information, call 416.973.4963 or email us.
