Make this the winter you learn to skate!
Thanks to everyone for another successful Learn to Skate season!
Registration for the 2013-14 season opens Monday, September 30, 2013.
Harbourfront Centre offers over 100 skating classes for kids, teens and adults, taught by our experienced and supportive skating instructors. All classes take place on The Natrel® Rink, alongside the scenic shore of Lake Ontario. We have a heated change room with lockers, there's underground parking, and we're always accessible by TTC. Part of Skate Culture.
HELMET POLICY
CSA-approved hockey helmets or a winter-rated helmet (e.g. ski/snowboard helmet) are required for ALL participants – including parents participating in the Parent & Tot class. Bicycle helmets are not permitted.
NO SKATES OR HELMET?
No problem! Skate rentals start from just $6 per day, helmets (limited sizes) are available to rent for $5. Rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and a government-issued photo ID is required.
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress warmly. Don't forget your gloves and mittens. Wear clothing that allows you to move easily. Wristguards are also recommended for first-time skaters.
WEATHER
Want to know if a class is cancelled because of the weather? Call us at 416-973-1620 after 3pm on weekdays or after 7:30am on weekends or follow us @LearnToSkateTO.
