Rachel Manley
Reading and Interview
Rachel Manley (Canada/Jamaica), granddaughter and daughter of two of Jamaica's national leaders, tells the story of the brilliant, artistic Manleys — Jamaica's most prominent and glamorous political family — and the house that nurtured them: Drumblair. In September this year Manley publishes Horses in Her Hair, the third book in a trilogy about her family. She talks about this and the previous two books in the series, Slipstream and Drumblair, as part of Island Soul, one of Harbourfront Centre's Summer World Routes festivals.
Rachel Manley is interviewed by Neil Armstrong, editor of the Jamaica Gleaner.
