Humans were born to move and choreographers explore this need taking it to the next, deeper level – one of expression and communication with the audience. Canada has amazing choreographers who share their thoughts, art and culture through dance. Harbourfront Centre is proud to host the amazing artists and companies who are part of the 2011/2012 season of NextSteps.

Harbourfront Centre's Legacy of Dance
For almost 30 years, Harbourfront Centre has demonstrated a commitment to presenting contemporary dance. The Fleck Dance Theatre has hosted over 500 productions in Canada's only theatre designed specifically for contemporary dance. Our other stages, the Enwave Theatre and Studio Theatre have also been hosts to some of the most incredible international and Canadian dancers.
Harbourfront Centre shines a spotlight on dance companies and artists from across Canada and around the world. With your support, we will continue to build on our legacy of dance and provide a home for contemporary dance in Canada.
