The 2012-13 season, running September to May, features 24 companies, each one showcasing the incredible spectrum of dance within our country.

The Home for Contemporary Dance in Canada

The NextSteps dance season brings together an array of dance styles, reflecting the diversity of Toronto and Canada. Harbourfront Centre is passionate about dance and proud to have these unique companies on our stages. Through the support of our donors over the last 30 years, we have become the Home for Contemporary Dance in Canada. For example, the Fleck Dance Theatre – our theatre designed specifically for contemporary dance – has hosted over 500 productions.
