Toronto Urban Design Awards 2007
Harbourfront Centre's Water's Edge Revitalization project, a joint project of Harbourfront Centre and WATERFRONToronto's renewal initiative, has received an Award of Excellence in the Large Places or Neighbourhood Designs category of the City of Toronto 2007 Urban Design Awards.
The revitalized water's edge is a stunning and popular attraction on Harbourfront Centre's 10-acre site which draws more than 12.5 million visits each year.

Jury's CommentsA civic design that is simple yet generous in its use of fine materials, this project sets an excellent standard for future expansion to the City’s waterfront promenade, broadening the possibilities for both formal and informal use by the public.
