Harbourfront Centre School Visits is committed to creating an inclusive, accessible learning community that explores contemporary arts, culture and ideas; fostering joy, curiosity, personal growth and building connections to our city.
Our core programs run all year, and allow your students the opportunity to explore Visual Arts & Contemporary Craft, Performing Arts and Urban Studies. These full and half-day offerings are developed with the Ontario Curriculum in mind and are taught by our talented artist-educators. Included in all visits is a guided exploration of our Craft and Design Studio, where 26 Artists-in-Residence are creating daily.
Our Seasonal Programs respond to our unique 10-acre central waterfront campus.
In December, January and February, bring your students down for our Make and Skate program. Spend half the day in our studio spaces and half the day on our Natrel Rink. Skate and helmet rentals are available for all student groups.
In May and June, join us for Waterfront Explorations, which highlights our campus and our city’s place on the waterfront offering a truly memorable end of year school trip.
Unable to make it to Harbourfront Centre? Let our artist-educators come to you for an In-school Program. Programs are 90 minutes in length and are offered in dance, drama or music. This program is offered all year long.
