Using our computer lab, students learn about the world of advertising. We introduce the “methods of manipulation” used in advertising and explore the impact advertising has on our environment and society. Students also create their own print ad. When two classes are visiting, you can pair your media experience with a half-day Lino Print workshop to further explore the ideas of logos and branding!

Programme Objectives

By the end of the programme, student will:

  • Identify methods of advertising in our daily lives
  • Describe the tools advertisers use to promote their product, service or message
  • Create their own advertisement promoting social change
