Discover why artists of the past and present are inspired by the outdoors! The Harbourfront Centre site allows students great possibilities to engage their passions. Some students may look to the lake to capture the natural world in their paintings, while others may be drawn towards the built environment.
By the end of the programme, students will:
- Examine the history of the discipline
- Recognize and experiment with the conventions, tools, materials and techniques of acrylic painting
- Produce a piece of acrylic artwork using the Harbourfront Centre site as inspiration
