In response to the high interest and great feedback from our spring launch, School Visits are introducing a year-round Mapping and Orienteering programme. Students learn about cartography, explore map-making and have the chance to complete an orienteering activity across our 10-acre site!
Programme Objectives
By the end of the programme, students will:
- Explore various types of maps and their functions
- Identify the key components of a map
- Use a map to guide themselves through a series of tasks
