Harbourfront Centre School Visits invites you to a year of creative exploration on Toronto’s central waterfront.
Our Core programming, offered year round, provides an opportunity for you and your students to explore full day and half day programs developed with the Ontario curriculum in mind. Work with our talented artist-educators in Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Urban Studies – or choose two half day programs and benefit from meeting multiple curriculum links in one day! New this year: SHSM Certificate Workshops. Be sure to look into options for your Grade 11 and 12 students to complete their SHSM requirements at Harbourfront Centre!
Our Seasonal programming takes advantage of our 10-acre waterfront campus. Join us in December, January or February for our Make and Skate program – a half day on the Natrel Rink combined with a half day School Visits program. In May and June, join us onsite for our Waterfront Exploration program – a chance to learn and explore our campus complete with the option to take your students on a narrated, curriculum-linked boat tour of Toronto’s Inner Harbour.
Our Creative Edge programming responds to the unique performances and exhibitions showcased throughout our site. These programs allow students to engage with local, national and international artists across multiple disciplines. Be sure to sign up for our e-communications to get the most up to date information as these programs evolve throughout the year!
Unable to make it to Harbourfront Centre? Let us come to you! Be sure to check out our In-School programming (available to TDSB and TCDSB classes).
Check out our online resources including a Pre and Post Visit Packages. These packages will help prepare your students for their visit, and extend their learning beyond their time with our educators.
