Using our Media Lab, students learn about the world of advertising. We introduce the methods of manipulation used in advertising and ask students to apply media literacy skills to deconstruct images seen in our daily lives. Students will collaborate to create a print ad. Pair your media experience with a half-day Lino Printmaking workshop to further explore the ideas of logos and branding!

By the end of the programme, student will:

  • Identify methods of advertising in our daily lives
  • Describe the tools advertisers use to promote their product, service or message
  • Create their own advertisement promoting social change
