Students will explore various ways we can create music in response to a number of visual stimuli. The rich history of musical notation will be introduced and students will develop their own ways of interpreting images into sound as well as exploring the potential of music to tell stories.
Using their bodies, students will discover the potential for musical expression through rhythm and percussion.

By the end of the program, students will:
- Explore historical and contemporary methods of musical notation
- Respond to visual stimuli musically
- Use vocabulary as related to the elements of music appropriately
