Valerie Biscoe is a Visual Arts and Urban Studies educator who has been teaching at Harbourfront Centre’s School Visits since 2003.
Valerie has a Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) from Ryerson University and also has her professional certification (NCIDQ) in Interior Design.
Her previous work experience was in the area of hospitality design and included the interior design of large hotels, restaurants and night clubs within Canada, the United States and internationally.
Valerie continues to have a keen interest in the arts, particularly in arts education. Her most cherished accomplishments have occurred within the classroom where, through gentle encouragement and process, students are given the opportunity to recognize their creative talent, embrace this confidence, further explore their creativity and develop a life-long love of the arts.
