Love Stories of the Shahnameh is based on epic poems from Ferdowsi's Shahnameh (“Book of Kings” – Iranian National Epic), one of the masterpieces of Persian literature, retelling the tales of “Shirin & Khosrow,” “Bahram & Arezoo” and “Sohrab & Gordafarid.”

Sepideh Raissadat and Magham Ensemble

Magham is a musical term; considered to have two different meanings in the eastern world: “Song” and “Mode”. To create their repertoire Sepideh and the Magham Ensemble have concentrated on the latter concept, musical modes of Iranian regional music, rather than the songs.
