Wab Kinew (pron: WOB ka-NOO) is a one-of-a-kind musical talent, becoming one of the artists to watch for from the Western provinces. He is a hip hop artist and CBC radio producer/host based in Winnipeg. Wab exemplifies what it means to be multicultural in Canada today, holding both a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and training in the traditional medicine ways of his Anishinaabe people.
Sarah Podemski is an Ojibway/Israeli actress born and raised in Toronto. At age nine, she began training at Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts, where she studied dance, music and theatre. Her professional career began at age 13, guest starring in Goosebumps and later starring in the German series Blue Hawk. As a young woman, Sarah’s roles grew more diverse, playing a teen-mother in Showcase’s Moccasin Flats, spying on the government in CBC’s The Border, flirting with college boys in Comedy Network’s House Party, and scheming her way to the top in the APTN casino comedy Cashing In. Sarah has recounted history in the Charles Manson biopic The Family, and played a broken-hearted zombie girl in the short film, Love Letters From an Open Grave.
