About Duane Stephenson:
Duane Stephenson's heartfelt lyrics, sincere vocals, insightful commentaries and deeply rooted spirituality continue to make roots reggae a global force that lives on in the 21st century.
His smooth vocals also led him to fronting The Wailers (the most successful reggae band of all time, selling 250 million albums). Stephenson wrote the single "A Step for Mankind" with The Wailers to benefit the United Nations World Food Programme. The track has become the anthem for global hunger eradication.
Duane Stephenson simultaneously represents both the past and the future of Jamaican music, both as The Wailers (of Bob Marley fame) frontman and as a successful solo artist.
