From May to October, Harbourfront Centre often plays host to visiting tall ships, Coast Guard or other vessels.

The staff at Harbourfront Centre were saddened to hear about the sinking of the HMS Bounty as a result of Hurricane Sandy, especially when we learned of the lives that were lost as a result of this tragedy.

Harbourfront Centre had the honour of welcoming the HMS Bounty to our site on several occasions between 1984 and 1994.

Our sincere condolences for everyone affected, but especially for the family and loved ones of Captain Robin Walbridge and Claudene Christian.

The Waterfront Business Improvement Area hosts an international fleet of tall ships that will race through the Great Lakes this summer. One of these ships will be docking at Harbourfront Centre as part of the Redpath Toronto Waterfront Festival, Great Lakes United TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® 2010, June 30 to July 4. The public is invited to visit the event – general admission is FREE.
