Thanks for another great summer!
We want to thank those of you who were part of the Lakeview Market and World Café in the 2016 summer season.
As the season changes, we are focusing on the end of the year and are currently planning fall and winter events, as well as 2017.
Our applications will be ready at the end of February 2017 and will be posted on this page. Meanwhile, we invite you to be part of the Day of the Dead and Kuumba markets.
Day of the Dead (November 5–6) is an exploration of the ancient and contemporary traditions of Mexico and Latin America’s most popular cultural celebration through a contemporary lens. Experience roving performances, art installations and more – all to a soundtrack of Mexican music.
Kuumba (February 3–4 & 10–11) is Toronto’s longest-running celebration of Black History Month and this time we’re adding a second weekend! Join us for a series of thought-provoking panel discussions and socially-driven cultural programming that explores blackness in the 21st century.
