The Volunteer Programme is divided into two categories; the Seasonal Volunteer Programme and the Core Volunteer Programme. Each programme has its own different requirements and benefits. It is our goal to develop and nurture both of these programmes and to build a solid, dedicated volunteer base throughout the years.
Seasonal Volunteer Programme
There is a no minimum time commitment for seasonal volunteers. Once they have registered with the volunteer programme, they are responsible for signing-up for any shifts that they are interested in.
Seasonal Volunteer Benefits:
- 2 TTC tickets or 1 discounted parking pass
- Opportunity for 5-Minute complimentary ticket (associated with specific programmes)
- Record of hours and/or reference letter.

Core Volunteer Programme
Core Volunteers are a group of dedicated individuals who contribute a minimum of 80-100 hours throughout the year in support of a wide variety of programmes.
Core Volunteer Benefits:
- 2 TTC tickets or 1 discounted parking pass
- Record of hours and/or reference letter
- Harbourfront Centre Volunteer Newsletter
- Invitation to Annual Volunteer Recognition Event
- Dated Photo ID badge (valid for one fiscal year) which gives the following benefits:
- Opportunity for 5-Minute complimentary tickets on a year-round basis to most Harbourfront Centre produced events
- Toronto Attractions & Attractions Ontario Reciprocal Programme (admission discounts to numerous attractions)
- Staff discount at Bounty: Contemporary Canadian Craft Shop
