Museum of Indulgence

Museum of Indulgence is a multi-media project that explores the stereotypes and consumer culture of hip hop in an exhibition reminiscent of natural history museums. Dioramas come to life with in-house rap shows, an interactive recording studio and a whole new take on the term "consumer culture."

Montreal-based visual artist Shelley Miller, whose past projects have explored themes of consumption and excess, teams up with Toronto native hip hop triple-threat More or Les, an MC, DJ and producer, to create Museum of Indulgence, an interactive and multi-purpose art exhibition and series of live music performances that centre around the theme of media stereotypes in rap culture.
