Break it Down

Through hip hop we express our need to create and to be strong in a world that will tell you that your worth is nothing. This is the b-boy story.

Break it Down is a dynamic, youth-led organization that creates productions from the diverse perspective of the hip hop generation and teaches our youth the empowering aspects of hip hop culture through education and mentorship programming.

Lead by co-artistic directors Jon Reid and Lee Pham (who are part of the Supernaturalz) and playwright Ins Choi, whose previous work, Kim's Convenience, won the 2011 Toronto Fringe New Play Contest.
