The Terrarium Project

Liminal Solutions

The collective entity behind The Terrarium Project — Liminal Solutions — was initially formed as a collaborative to investigate questions of representation and reality as they apply to museums. The exhibition features several terrariums presented as living artifacts collected by a fictional scientist and eventually donated to a unusual fictional institution. Collaborating writers and artists will create the origins of the orphaned objects and individuals connected to each terrarium. The project will mesh fact, as seen in museums and institutions, with fiction or wonder, much like a story teller may trade reality for an enhanced presentation. The result will be an installation with cultivated interconnectedness.
