20 poets. 1 stage. 1 winner. Our popular poetry competition will feature readings by 20 emerging and established poets. Judges will select one winner, who will receive an automatic invitation to read at the 39th edition of the International Festival of Authors AND an ad for their book in NOW Magazine! The event will be hosted by NOW‘s Susan G. Cole.

Sunday Scene: Gerald McMaster

Gerald McMaster has over 30 years international work and expertise in contemporary art, critical theory, museology and Indigenous aesthetics. He has extensive experience as an artist and curator in art and ethnology museums researching and collecting art, and his early interests concerned the ways in which culturally sensitive objects were displayed in ethnology museums. McMaster will discuss Kader Attia’s exhibition The Field of Emotion.
