In 1938, Orson Welles staged what has become recognized as one of history's boldest pranks, and the Art of Time Ensemble will show you how Welles pulled off the infamous radio broadcast that terrorized a nation: War of the Worlds. In association with Harbourfront Centre.

Makeup artists transform children's faces into traditional-looking Day of the Dead skulls ("calaveras").

The soft sounds of the acoustic guitar will set a quiet mood over the Lakeside Terrace between food demos and family dance instruction.

A collaborative concert bringing together performers, from distinct traditions, who are engaged in a contemporary exploration of Mexican folk music. Featuring Jorge Moreno Salazar, Café con Pan and friends (pictured), and Jorge Lopez.

Inspired by artist Omer Fast’s use of narrative and news media in his piece CNN Concatenated (2002), each participant will create a fictional news event by collaging found text from current newspapers and magazines. For children ages 10 – 15 and their adult companions.
