The Toronto Chapter for the Swedish Women’s Educational Association International Inc. (SWEA Toronto) is a not-for-profit organization supporting student exchange programs and various cultural and educational activities.

SWEA 28th Annual Swedish Christmas Festival
November 21-22, 2009
Guests will enjoy festive entertainment at the Swedish Women’s Educational Association International Inc. (SWEA) 28th Annual Swedish Christmas Festival. Scheduled to perform is the renowned Lucia Pageant, which includes a procession of children singing traditional Swedish Christmas carols. Lucia is a symbol of goodness and light that opens the Christmas season. The programme also includes traditional folk dancing.
Children can take part in the popular Christmas workshop to make Swedish crafts, bake gingerbread cookies and dance around the Christmas tree.
Guests can buy Swedish crystal, jewellery and other traditional gifts, homemade crafts, textiles, food, glögg (mulled wine), children’s advent calendars, Lucia gowns and much more. The Little Café will also serve a variety of Swedish delicacies.
