SUNDAY SCENE / Johnson Ngo

January 15, 2012

Lectures Visual Arts The Power Plant

Every Sunday, speakers from the world of art and beyond offer their responses to the current exhibitions. Whether focusing on a single work/artist or on multiple exhibitions, guest presenters draw provocative connections between our programs and broader cultural and intellectual debates.

Johnson Ngo is an artist exploring connections and disjunctions between his gaysian identity and Western queer culture. He created the Blackwood Gallery’s 2011 Billboard Commission and is guardian of the Feminist Art Gallery.
