Worldviews illustrates the traditions, stories and talents by Indigenous artists from around the globe.

"Tjimur" is the Paiwan name for the village known as "San-ti-men" in Chinese. This cradle of culture for the Paiwan tribe is located in San-ti-men Township, Pingtung County. The dance company's Chinese name contains the characters "ku" and "hsin" (or "old" and "new") which suggests that the group's new spirit of dance is inspired by an ancient culture.

Inspired by Paiwan traditions, Tijimur Dance Theatre is one of Taiwan's most exciting Indigenous contemporary dance companies. Established in April 2006 in Tjimur Village, the company is led by founder LiaoYing-Chieh, Artistic Director Liao Yi-Hsin and budding choreographer Madilin Baru.
