About Cabaret Noir:

Originally from the Ivory Coast, and living in Canada since 1994, Djoléï Justine Gogoua is a recognized figure in the arts and entertainment industry. As the founder and former artistic director of the Arts Bassan Group, she toured the country extensively over the last few years and has earned several awards along the way. She founded CanAfric Théâtre in 2005 to promote African and Canadian culture and to develop a better understanding between people despite their cultural differences.
