O-Jazz is a jazz trio from Toronto that performs their electric trio version of jazz standards. The members – veteran musicians in multiple genres – formed O-Jazz to stretch out their musicality into the world of improvisational jazz.
The trio consists of bass guitarist David DeLeary, who has performed with Donna's Boy and Jacques & the Shakey Boys; Brendan Peltier, also of Jacques & the Shakey Boys, as well as Cheri Maracle; and jazz guitarist Eugene Peltier, who held a residency at the Toronto's famed Rex Hotel.
