Lee Choreographic Award, and the 2006 Isadora Award for Excellence in Choreography (Unbound). He has choreographed for the Alberta Ballet, Ballet Jörgen, Dancers Dancing, North West Dance Projects (Portland) and Vancouver Opera's production of Nixon in China.
March 1 – 2, 2013Dance
Choreographed by Wen Wei Wang to original music by Giorgio Magnanensi and lit by James Proudfoot, six dancers display uninhibited abandon and controlled precision as they explore control versus autonomy and dominance versus obedience through our relationship to animals. The full-length work about the seldom achieved unconditional love is a much-anticipated follow-up to his stunning Cock-Pit, previously presented by DanceWorks at NextSteps 09/10.
