Dallas Arcand is a high energy Aboriginal Entertainer from the Alexander (Kipohtakaw) Cree Nation, located near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. His Indian name is "Dancing Buffalo Man" (Nimihto Paskwa Mostôs Napew), and he is best known as a hoop dancer, a motivational speaker, flutist, and musician. He is a graduate of Behavioral Sciences at Mount Royal University.
Dallas has been an Indigenous Dancer for 18 years, ranging from Traditional to Contemporary Indigenous Styles (Fancy, Grass, Hoop Dancing, Break Dancing, and Jigging). In 2003, Dancing Buffalo Productions was created when Dallas trained and choreographed a group of young Hoop Dancers to perform at the Calgary Stampede. In 2006, 2007 and 2012, he was awarded 1st prize at the Annual World Championship Hoop Dancing Competition.
In April 2012, Dallas released his fourth CD, Sacred Sweetgrass.
Dallas represents the continued Renewal, energy and determination in showcasing his talents to a larger audience.
