A North American premiere! City of Tribes is a unique and explosive international collaboration between UK company, Tavaziva Dance and Toronto's COBA (Collective Of Black Artists). Choreographed by BaKari E. Lindsay and Bawren Tavaziva, this exhilarating exchange of choreographic expressions between two companies is based in a contemporary Africanist aesthetic. The program also includes selections from each company's repertoire.
