Our Venues

Lakeside Terrace

The Lakeside Terrace is one of the most attractive venues in the York Quay Centre. The room is bright and airy with west and south walls of glass affording an excellent view of the lake, overlooking the pond in the summer and the skating rink in the winter. It has a built-in bar and doors which can open onto the patio. The stage is located at the north end of the room, and a skylight runs north-south the entire length of the venue, including over the stage. The number of windows and skylight limit the use of the venue for programmes requiring lighting effects or audio-visual support (slides, overheads, films, and video) during daylight hours.

The Lakeside Terrace is used primarily for Harbourfront Centre's own programming, and is therefore only available for rent by the day, not by the week. The Terrace is used exclusively for school and camps programmes Monday to Friday during the day, so it is only available for rental on the weekend and during the evenings on weekdays.
